Product Information Extension:

I. RFID Technology Features:

① RFID = Radio Frequency Identification
② Chinese Name: 无线射频识别技术 (Wireless Radio Frequency Identification Technology)
③ RFID is a contactless automatic identification technology that uses radio frequency signals to automatically identify target objects and capture relevant data.
④ It operates reliably in harsh environments, can identify high-speed moving objects, simultaneously read multiple tags, and ensures data uniqueness.

II. Working Principle of Passive RFID (Unpowered RFID):

An RFID system consists of three core components:

1. Reader (Interrogator):
Composed of a transmitter, receiver, and antenna, the reader emits radio frequency signals at a specific frequency to generate an electromagnetic field. When a tag enters this field, it harvests energy through its antenna and establishes communication with the reader.

2. RFID Tag (Transponder):
Made up of a microchip and an antenna, the tag stores a unique ID and associated data about the target object—such as product name, batch number, location, etc. The antenna receives the reader’s RF signal and backscatters the stored data in response.

3. RFID System & Software:
After the reader captures data from the tag, it transmits the information—via wired or wireless connections—to a backend software system. This software parses, stores, and analyzes the data, then integrates it into business workflows (e.g., generating inventory reports, triggering anomaly alerts, or updating asset records).

 2. Advantages in the Production Process:

  • Automated Production Workflow

  • Process Tracking: As work-in-progress (WIP) passes through each workstation, timestamps are automatically recorded. If a product remains at a station beyond the allowed time, the system triggers an alert for anomaly detection.

  • Intelligent Scheduling: Production sequences are optimized based on historical data to minimize downtime and setup adjustments.

  • Quality Traceability

  • Inspection Results: Key quality data (e.g., dimensions, performance metrics) is written to the RFID tag in real time, establishing a complete lifecycle data chain.

  • Material Management

  • Precision Material Feeding: Tags store material specifications and batch information, preventing overstocking or shortages.

  • Environmental Adaptability: RFID tags overcome limitations of vision-based systems, enabling reliable identification in challenging conditions (e.g., dust, oil, occlusion, or low visibility).
