Second, industrial connectors are widely used

Third, the general industrial connector should have the performance

1. High and low temperature resistance: the working temperature of the connector is -20℃~+80℃.

2.  IP67 protection capability: After the male end and female end of the connector are correctly connected in place, it can effectively isolate the dust and water, and ensure the safety and effectiveness of the electrical performance between the connected components, so it can safely work in wet, dust and other harsh environments.

3. Salt spray resistance: when the connector works in an environment containing moisture and salt, the surface treatment layer of the metal structure parts and contact parts may produce electrochemical corrosion, affecting the physical and electrical properties of the connector, and the tolerance time is at least 48 hours.


4. Vibration and impact resistance: this is an important performance of connectors, in special application environments such as aviation and aerospace, railway and highway transportation is particularly important, it is an important index to test the mechanical structure of electrical connectors and electrical contact reliability.

Fourth, General industrial connector structure

General industrial connectors are usually composed of four parts: insulator, pin (jack), bolt (nut) and cable.

(1) Insulator: used to maintain the fixed position of the combination and complete the electrical insulation between the combination of parts, requirements to have insulation ability, weather resistance ability, fire resistance, most of the design of nylon or TPU material.

(2) Pin jack: the circular needle or terminal is used to insert the parts of the socket combination (terminal or shrapnel), the selection of copper plating materials and processing methods, can improve the effectiveness of the combination, and can reduce the contact impedance.

(3) Bolts and nuts: in order to ensure that the plug socket has stable and good contact, the combination parts with prevent loose stop retreat in the structural design are usually treated with copper and nickel plating materials.
